technical review on the most important trend in technology since the internet,
the document will state the cloud computing effects in modern society, components
architecture, usability and utility, and the most important technologies in the
forefront of this new technological achievement. In the current scenario we see

Cloud computing introduction.

Officially, Cloud Computing is a model to enable on-demand
access to ubiquitous and convenient way across a network to a shared resource pool
(e.g. networks, servers, storage, and services) that can be quickly provisioned
and released with minimum management effort or integration with the service
provider Cloud Computing is understood as the joint evolution of infrastructure
network and hardware and computational systems in a single central, virtual
way. That is, without the need to reserve space for servers and data centres in
companies.  The term cloud has
historically been used as a metaphor for internet. This usage was originally
derived from its representation in diagrams with a sketch of a cloud, used to

2009). This concept emerged in 1961, when Professor John McCarthy suggested that
the technology could lead to a future where computing power and even specific
applications could be sold through a model of utility-type business. This idea

disappeared. However, since the of the millennium, the concept was revitalized.
It was during this revitalization, that the term cloud computing began to
emerge in the media of technology (RITTINGHOUSE and RANSOME, 2009).With a
strong economic appeal, cloud computing makes it possible too use computing as
a utility, in which computational resources can be consumed and paid with the
same convenience as electric power. Cloud computing is then the embodiment of
the computing as utility. By adopting cloud computing, companies can take
advantage of the use of services on an on-demand model. The reduction of
expenses with initial capital is important, which allows companies greater
flexibility with new IT services (ISACA, 2009). Although there are many
considerations. The fundamental truth of the technique is that cloud computing
is a model of business and economy (HURWITZ et al, 2010). The study of cloud
computing is relevant because it presents itself as advantage for
organizations. With it processing and storage of data is accessed remotely by
the cloud, that is, the Internet through third-party servers. Computational
resources that are not fully utilized and that end up getting idle can be well
used with the use of this new technology model, because it is common to use the
structure underutilized in private companies or in government entities. As an
example, in the case of the Internet it is well seen that the connectivity offered
by it facilitates the daily activities of people, through downloads, games online
shopping, online shopping, financial transactions, among others. But, the internet
applications are evermore incorporating features that require real-time connection.
Therefore, with the use of in the cloud it is possible to meet the demand for
data traffic in dynamically, and can be provisioned according to the
seasonality of the services with the elasticity of cloud computing by
stabilizing the system for use. This potential for cloud computing ensures the
optimization of computational resources, promoting the reduction of expenses
with hardware, cost savings and energy savings, as this is acquiring hardware
becomes expendable and the production of electronic waste decreases, among
other benefits.

cloud computing is the possibility to use the applications directly from the
internet, without them being installed on the user’s computer, in other words,
reducing costs with IT (servers, software licenses, equipment, etc). But there

The user does not have to worry about the
structure for execution -hardware, backup procedure, security control, or

Most suppliers have duplicate systems, that is,
if there are problem in accessing a specific server another is activated
without loss time or data to the contractor.

Greater control of expenses. There are numerous
free Cloud Computing services and even paid services have control by using time
or depending on the contract.

Even services that require, in some cases, the
installation of an application (Dropbox or Google Drive) data and files remain
in the cloud.

Regardless of the application used, the user
does not need knowledge the structure that keeps the system running. That is,
there is no need for the user to know how many servers run a tool, which
hardware configuration is used or how it is done scheduling. The user just
needs to know that the application is available in the clouds.
